Navigating Our Site
To help ensure that a large web site like
CPAdirectory's CPAMemberCenter is easily navigated, we created a simple basic structure.
This structure allows viewers of the site to get to other parts of the site easily.
CPAdirectory's CPAMemberCenter site structure is divided into 6 different categories: |
|
|
Imagine this area a file drawer having 6 different folders. Each folder
is further divided into subcategorizes. When you are in a specific folder
area. You will notice that the color of the tab is visible around the
whole outside of the page. Other folder tags become a secondary color.
On the lowest bottom of the web site, is our general information links: |
| |
Advertising Opportunities - information
on various sponsorships available to advertisers |
| |
Contact Us - information on our different departments
and contact names |
| |
Partnerships & Affiliations - information
on services, suppliers and vendors |
| |

describes the terms and conditions applicable to your use of the CPAdirectory service |
| |
Privacy Policy - this page explains the types of information
CPAdirectory obtains about users, how the information is obtained and how it is used |
|
Web Browsers
We planned our site to work with 4.0 browsers and above. We have tried
to keep large graphics, javascripts and other fun but slowing web enhancements
to a minimum. We wanted to make this site as easily navigational and quick
loading as possible. We assume that you are on this site for information,
not to be entertained by blinking lights and disappearing words.
Portable Document Format (PDF)
We have included on certain areas of our site files called PDF. This
is a format developed by Adobe Systems, Inc. also known as Portable Document
Format. These files are highly compressed, platform independent and self-contained
files viewable using the Adobe Acrobat reader. Acrobat is available on
most computer platforms and can be downloaded free at www.adobe.com.
The reason for PDF files on websites is that it permits you to download
a file with original images, formatting and and multiple pages in one tiny file.
Display Resolution
This site is best viewed so that your computer's display is set to at
least 800x600 pixels. It is also a good idea to have your browser maximized on your screen.
To change your settings in Windows right click on the desktop, and select PROPERTIES. Click on the SETTINGS
tab. Select 800x600 (or higher). Select thousands of colors (or better). You may need to restart Windows to have the
new setting take effect. |
